Not a great deck unfortunately, you do not have near enough creatures for one. You should always have 4 each of creatures (except for the Wrexial, 2 is appropriate). Only having one copy of most of your spells isnt a good idea because when you need them most, you are unable to draw them.

Wait for when you go to university or college maybe and then you're going to be able to meet people who you can relate to as you're choosing the same paths ... on the grades thing try your hardest, its up to you to get as far as you can no matter how f******* frustrating people around you are. How to choose a career path?

I too didn't know what I wanted to do - guess because I didn't know what I liked or liked enough and through I could make a career of. So, my suggestion is to try different things. Some things I tried because my school adviser suggested classes that I didn't think I'd be interested in but ended up loving. Other thing I figured out is that I felt a lot of pressure because I thought once I pick what I'm going to do, that's it...for the rest of my life. Didn't turn out that way. I've changed jobs and fields because something about it interested me. Technology also increases the speed of change/invention so what you might end up doing might not be a job yet. P.S. People that "knew" what they wanted to do change their minds over time too.

Once they invade a plant there is no hope for revival. Here in east Texas cilantro,chives,onions,and dill start to die off in the late spring/early summer.The "tarragon" you referred to is more likely an herb called Mexican mint marigold. It doesn't do well in the summer either. But don't discard it or the chives ,when the weather cools down they'll start growing again (perennials). I suggest you get another parsley. They grow for 2 years - a real thing of beauty. It is my favorite herb to grow!

In my country, we generally take graded examinations from ABRSM or Trinity. In US, it seems that there graded exams are not common. How are students graded? What Dreams May Come is probably my saddest film. Somebody recommended it to me and it's not a very happy film. Robin Williams' children die in a car crash and then RW dies and goes to heaven only to watch his wife fall into depression and eventually commit suicide for the loss of her family. There's a girl at my school (I'm a freshman in high school), and ever since 6th grade, this girl has had a problem with me. Honestly, I think that while the names are interesting, I would have one interesting name and the second name somewhat traditional. A problem with these names is that its hard to distinguish whether or not they are boy names or girl names...and in the future could be a headache for the boy or girl. e.g. men with first names like Carroll are so often mistaken as a woman. You may be interested in the idea of the child having an ambiguous name...but in the long run of a lifetime I am not sure if it is that helpful and could be really confusing...with them having to spell their names constantly for strangers. I like the name Grier for a girl as well! I think it's precious and sort of refreshing. It's different, but heard of. It's good to hear a spunky and slightly unique name like Grier compared to all those Avas and Lilys out there today. I personally prefer it spelled Grier, but Greer works too. I have been with our school orchestra for a while now. We always play in closed areas during our events, and usually, we use 2-3 condenser mics (for the wind instruments), 3 monitor speakers, and sometimes a percussion microphone. What could cause a cold sensation in the forehead?

This happens to me a few times a day. It's very similar to the brain freeze one can get when starting to eat something like ice cream, but it's isolated to one small area. It comes on suddenly, lasts for a couple of minutes, and sometimes the cold sensation will spread to the top of my head or around to the base of my skull. Then, it goes away. I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism three months ago, and have been taking Methimazole for it. I'm wondering if either the thyroid condition or the medication could be causing this odd sensation.

I think that anyone entering into another country to live, should try to adopt same cultures as that country. There seems to be a lot of people coming into this country unwilling to learn the English language, I am upset by this because I am now forced to learn a different language to keep my job. When my father migrated here decades ago he learned the English language fast he had to. Why is this happening to me?

Will diluted bleach kill ants?

In Arizona, the summer is unforgiving and ants are swarming in by the hundreds. I did a little online research and found out the effective solution is to bait ants with a sweet and a poison so that the poison will spread to other ants/the source. After that, I cleaned out a Windex bottle and put sugar water, honey, and bleach into it, shook it up and sprayed it on my lawn. However, I've noticed that the ants seem to be quite enjoying the solution because I put a LOT of honey and sugar water (about ten ounces) along with barely two to three ounces of bleach. I was just wondering if the amount of bleach was too small because the ants aren't dying and seem to be eating it up if anything. Thanks.

I was hired by this small company to "clean up" the point of sale system ( Dac Easy) and to generate a profit and loss statement from said system, however due to a lot of tedious issues with the software that caused my system to crash the report couldn't be done. Know any good books or internet guides on composing for big band?

While books are great (and the one linked above looks like a good one to use) my suggestion would be to get a hold of some of Ellington's and Miller's scores and study them. You can usually get individual ("extra") scores for about $10 each, and libraries may have some scores on hand as well. You could definitely use a book to supplement this study, but you might as well learn straight from the masters. Take a score and just pick it apart...analyze the melodies, harmonies, rhythms, form, everything you can possibly think of. Then use what you've learned in your own music!

I listen to Mozart very often, and I can tell he really likes oboes and wrote a lot of solos for them. But I don't hear any in his 22nd piano concerto. Just flutes, clarinets, and bassoons... It just seems unlikely Mozart would do that. Maybe there are oboes but they don't have solos? Can you tell me whether or not the 22nd piano concerto has any oboes or if there are any other pieces he wrote for a full orchestra that don't have oboes?

My friends mom has stage 4 colon cancer, anything I can do?

She's had a lot of bits and pieces of her organs removed to try to stop it spreading. It's in her liver which is the most terminal part. She's a beautiful woman with beautiful children and deserves some amazing vacation or financial help in her last few years. What should my major be?

I love performing music in front of crowds, listening to music, and writing songs (even if they're corny lol). I love reading novels and traveling. And I like drawing and painting but not as much as I love music. Health science would be my second choice (either pre-med or a major in biochemistry to become a medical scientist, RN, or nurse practitioner). I really wanted to major in musicology or music performance but I have no clue if that would stick with me. I wouldn't want to end up flipping burgers or working in a diner if things didn't work out or if I'm not good enough to get into an orchestra or jazz band, etc. I know that I want to minor in African American Studies and Philosophy but the major thing I'm not so sure about. Maybe I should just stick with a solid health science career that pays well enough for me to make a living. I don't hate health science, I love it too but music was my first love. Maybe I should major in pre-med and minor in music and philosophy. What do you think?

Is there a fungus on my fingertip?

On the pad of the tip of my right middle finger there is a patch of hard, peeling skin. It always looks a little wrinkled and is less sensitive to touch than my normal fingertips. When soaked in water, the skin doesn't wrinkle like my normal fingertips do, but the very tip of that finger (which isn't hard or peeling) wrinkles normally. It doesn't itch at all, but if I try to pick off the peeling skin I immediately hit the dermis so it hurts for a few days until the epidermis forms again. This has been this way for a few weeks. So far, it hasn't spread to any of my other fingertips and none of my family has complained about similar symptoms. Any clue as to what this is?

Stage 4 breast cancer. Is there hope?

A close friend of mine has stage 4 breast cancer. 3 months ago, she was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer but since then it has spread to her liver and it's now considered stage 4. She's only 25 years old. I'm 24 and this is the first time I've been forced to deal with this sort of thing. I need real statistics and probabilities. Is there a decent chance that she'll survive? WHEN THIS CENSUS was done my gr gr grandma was pregnant with my great grandfather and died 3 days after he was born(birth complications) also my Great aunt who was on the census died after 8-11 months after birth. Then in 1922 my Great Great grandad died from a heart attack bt when i found his birth certificate it said he was a *****. so im confused what race he is *****/Mullato. The only person who lived was my great grandad in which my gr gr grandma was pregnant with who just died in 2004 at the age of 84 and he never knew none of his parents or both sets of grandparents. Geeky to be in orchestra?

Ok, so i'm going to be a freshman, and i'm reeeaaalllly nervous. I've been playing violin since 5th grade, and my middle school orchestra is good. The first thing you need to do is fill out a FAFSA form and send it in ASAP (right away). This will get you hooked up so you can pursue options of what to do. You need this for any kind of loan or grant or whatever it is that you need financially for school. It will also give you sites that you can access for scholarships but you still need the FAFSA to get scholarships! You can pick an application up at a college or you can go online and register, that's what I did. It will walk you through the process. I'm surprised you don't have any offers of scholarships already, your HS should have hooked you up! Talk to the staff that you work with so that you know what area you would be best able to land a great job in. It sounds like you already have an in at Georgetown Hospital through your private clinic. Use your immediate resources to open paths in the right direction. He is 18 & works part time. He spends his money on tatoos, cigarettes, junk food, etc. He does pay for gas in his car.We gave him a good used car when he got his license & when he turned 18, due to a speeding ticket, we put him on his own insurance policy. How much time does a person have with stage 4 esophagus cancer?

My dad has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer of the esophagus, it has spread to his upper back, in his right lung and his lymph nodes.. The doctor says it is terminal, but they have given him chemo and radiation to help shrink the tumors (the tumor in his esophagus has completely blocked his esophagus and he now has a feeding tube).. He really hasn't told me how much time the doctor has given him, and I would like to know.. I am enjoying every minute I have with him just as if it was the last day.. What do you think??

Foot/ankle sprained/fractured/broken?

hey everyone! so earlier today i was in the city and i ended up falling down some stairs... i landed on my left foot and hit the left side (outer part) really hard against the concrete. at first i just walked it off and tried not to think about the pain, but once i got home around 8:00, my foot was KILLING ME. its swollen on the left side and the top of my foot and i have some bruising on the inner, top, and outer portions of my foot. the swelling is not TERRIBLE, but the pain is. so my question, do you think i sprained/fractured/or broke my foot? please help! p.s. the pain is also spreading to the inner part of my left foot, and i have been icing it and keeping it elevated!

Skin colored small bumps all over my body, very itchy!?

I started having these skin colored, very small bumps (that arent easy to be seen unless ur up close ) on my neck and eventually the spread to my chin and now there on my chest and my upper thighs and alittle bit on my arms....there really weird and itch really bad ! There not red except for one little patch on my leg but the rest are all skin colored...? Most of them are not in patches. There spreading very quickly as well. BiPolar ex-BFF is still spreading rumors and lies about me?

My passion for piano is gone but i still love it. any thoughts?

When i was 12 i heard the sound of a jazz pianist playing the piano. I asked my mom if i can take lessons and then i loved playing the piano at every lesson. I took interest in classical piano and listened to it constantly. My teacher said i had a lot of talent and i practiced a lot. My passion for piano then started at 13. Ever since i practiced for hours until now. i am now 16 and i started to notice i didn't practice the piano anymore. every time i tried to practice i didn't have the desire to play anymore. My mom complained about me not practicing anymore and canceled my piano lessons. She told me that i should not pursue a career in music because it is hard and it won't make money to support family in the future. I took what she said and thought to myself that pursuing a music career is hard. Then i talked to my school guidance counselor about it and he said that "I should keep on doing it if i believe and work hard on it. He told me that i was a gifted musician for only four years of piano. He told me it was god's talent to me and i should not waste it." I put thought into it again. I told myself that i did excel in music classes and i joined the school's chorus to enhance my ear training. I even asked my school conductor to even use his computer programs to train my ears and always watched him play the piano. But the funny thing is that this started when i started to struggle with my grades around sophomore year. I was in a crisis about my life with my parents and because of that i even had suicidal thoughts. And ever since that i haven't even touched the piano in the living room and i slowly gave up on playing it. But every time i come across someone playing an instrument or the sound of the piano or orchestra i start to miss it and i even cry sometimes. Some part of me still loves the piano but my desire to play it is gone. What should i do? Music is the only talent i have and the only thing I am good at. If i do quit my passion for playing it, will i have a better career and will i be happy?

It is my dream school but I am not sure I can get in. My school is a top public school in my state and has a very rigorous curriculum. I took mostly honors classes and have a 3.7 weighted GPA. I didn't take any AP classes because my teachers or guidance counselor didn't recommend any for me. It was a struggle to get the A's and B's I did get with the honors classes. To give you an idea of how competitive my high school is, even with my grades and GPA I barely made the top 35%. I did get a decent SAT score, 1850. I also made it into the National Honor Society, I have danced competitively with my dance studio for many years and have been a volunteer student teacher in some of the smaller kids classes for a few years. I also play the violin and have been a member of the orchestra all 4 years. I have other various volunteer hours through my church and a teen organization.

Any andante or slower chamber work from the classical era, Haydn or Mozart. You may have to do some arranging. Sorry I don't have any specific names, but you should be able to find student arrangements for chamber orchestra, and just transpose some of the viola parts for the saxes.

Tell me about your experience at an orchestra concert?

I recently saw a concert featuring a well-known orchestra from my state and Yo-Yo Ma as a soloist, and it was amazing! I had been to that theater several times before, and it's really lovely, but I don't think I ever took my eyes off the stage. The orchestra played several pieces that sounded really good, but when Yo-Yo Ma was playing, I just couldnt take my eyes off the stage. Not only is he an outstanding player, but he is also VERY courteous, friendly, and funny! There was a cellist from the orchestra who was retiring after that concert (she had been playing with the orchestra for nearly 70 years) and Ma was the one to come out and give her flowers! It was just an amazing concert, with a really nice atmosphere. Plus, I got to hear all kinds of stories about Ma from my violin teacher who plays in the orchestra:)

Musicians: How can I make a great song?

I've been playing piano and a few instruments for a while now. But at times,depending on how I feel, my mind starts to think of a song I make up while pretty much creating an orchestra in my head where I can think every arrangement for a singer, instrumentalist, time signature, key of the song etc. So my question is, How do I try and put what I'm thinking in my head to sound good on a sound track etc. Will I need to use a program like acid, fruity loops or something? I've already put down what I think on a keyboard with separate tracks, then combine everything to one. And I know if I do this right, this can be a hit song. I don't sing either, but I can pick out amazing melodies a singer can sing.

Should I trust my teacher even though I've been told not to?

I've been having issues with severe depression lately, and wanted to talk to my orchestra director about it because I love him and we're friends. Plus I found out he attempted suicide and also goes through depression so he would understand me. I was getting ready to talk to him about it and thinking about what I would say, but then my private lesson teacher told me not to trust him. She never said why. I trust her as well, but she has been known to be wrong half the time and she gets creeped out about him sometimes because hes gay. What is orchestra seating like for the Fox Theater during a concert?

I have tickets EEE 25 and 26 for a concert. They are the fifth row in the orchestra pit. I see in the seating chart that the orchestra pit is separated left and right with an aisle running down the center. Row EEE however, is one solid row and, I have the tickets dead center. According to the seating chart, I should have a clear view of the stage down the center aisle. I know however that probably won't be the case. Do the other people in the first four rows fill in the aisle? Will I get to move to the front before they have a chance to? Should I even bother trying to move to the front because, I'll see better standing where my actual seats are?

I personally prefer traditional names. It has become such a trend in the US to name your baby something random (like Gwyneth Paltrow's "Apple") or make up a name "Shalonda", "Keneisha", etc. In the adult working world, those names don't work too well, and I wonder if they even hurt the person's chance to really make something of themselves.

In youth orchestras and the like, why does the viola section always seem to be the weakest of the strings?

Your absolutely right. It seems we live in an age where fine arts are being neglected by people in general. I love classical music and going to the orchestra. I'm also a piano teacher. One thing that may be a factor is the bad state of the economy. Many people just don't have the extra funds to go to see orchestra concerts. Also, I think people today have less sophisticated taste in music than they did even 20-50 years ago. Sad to say many would rather go see that stupid Bieber kid than listen to real music from an orchestra. In some cities there are volunteer orchestras and free concerts. So, that may be an option for some people. I live in Houston and thankfully we have pretty good support for the symphony and fine arts in our city. Along with that we have two major universities that form an enclave for support in classical music and the arts. Such as the University of Houston Moores school of music and the Rice University music department. I think the only thing we can do is try to help people be more aware of the joy and glory of classical music and the symphony. Creating more interest in orchestras and their decline may help to save them. Thanks for your post.

I want to resign and i need some advice.?

I was hired by this small company to "clean up" the point of sale system ( Dac Easy) and to generate a profit and loss statement from said system, however due to a lot of tedious issues with the software the report couldn't be done. Fleas in my bed I need to rid of them!?

So my cat regularly gets treated for fleas but she still has them. I didn't realise she was spreading fleas around my room until it was too late. When i sit at my laptop they jump at the screen. When I was eating one tried to jump in my bowl then my face. I also find them on my legs and hands and when I get in bed I develop small itchy rashes with a lump that looks like a stinging nettle sting meaning I have probably been bitten. My mum sprayed my room with flea spray and hoovered and it didn't work. How am I supposed to get rid of them? I'm fed up with them jumping at me and biting me!

Tips on a mini-party? Please Read!?

Ok, so me, my girlfriend of 6 months, my best friend (dude), and possibly 1-3 of my girlfriends best friends are coming over to my house for a 4th of July type small party. How do I know if my abdominal pain is serious or not?

This morning I woke up and laid still for a while, and then turned over and stretched and immediately thought I had pulled a muscle or something. I got up and went to the bathroom, and whenever I flexed or moved my stomach, there was intense pain. It got worse, and I laid down and for a while it hurt even when I was laying still. The pain was mostly on my lower right side and was more wide spread. Now it's more in the middle in a concentrated spot, but my right side still is achy. It was sort of radiating from my belly button earlier but now it's just in that one spot right in my pelvic area. If I press down on my right side where my appendix would be and let up it doesn't hurt, but if I press in the middle in that spot where the pain is mostly now, there is considerable pain. I think it could possibly be appendicitis, and I have heard of people's appendix bursting and it wasn't unbearable pain and they thought they had just pulled a muscle. But I'm thinking that it might just be gas, because I love refried beans : ) and have eaten them for lunch the past two days. I have had severe pain in my chest before and thought I was having a heart attack or something, but it always was just really bad gas. I am already over my period and everything so it can't be that. So I don't know if I'm just being paranoid or what. I guess I'll just wait for a couple of hours and see if the pain gets worse, but until then, any words of wisdom?

When i fall asleep, on the verge of consciousness, i will hear Music, And not faint music, sometimes like a full Orchestra or song. Wow. I don't see how you can't get accepted. A 2010 on the SAT that's real good and your gpa is pretty close to 4.0. Also, you have a lot of extra curricular and a lot of AP classes. There's no way they can't take you.

Guilty Pleasure Names?

i have a cousin named Holland, it was actually a pretty common name back in the early 90's, was on the top 500 list, and her parents (my aunt and uncle) like "old" names. i wouldnt say i love them, but names that i like but would probably never actually name a child but still sort of go aww when i see them on a kid are boys- axel, sasha, tate, alexi, river, archer girls- cellar, theres probably more but i just cant think of them right now. the reason why i wouldnt use them is because the boys names are actually very popular, in other countries, but not here in the US, so they would sound kind of trendy and madeup here, and river i wouldnt use because i dont really want to name my kid after a body of water. for cellar, it has a personal story behind it, so ill probably use it as a middle name, but people wouldnt really understand without the story if it was a first name.
