I'm so sad!! please help?

I auditioned for an orchestra recently and i thought it went really well. I just got the results back last night and i didnt get in! I was sooo upset! My mom even contacted the conductor and asked why. I was in the Flute Choir of this organization for two years, and i thought i would be accepted. I am so mad and upset, i dont even know what to do! Not to mention im gonna miss everyone like heck!
