Tell me about your experience at an orchestra concert?

I recently saw a concert featuring a well-known orchestra from my state and Yo-Yo Ma as a soloist, and it was amazing! I had been to that theater several times before, and it's really lovely, but I don't think I ever took my eyes off the stage. The orchestra played several pieces that sounded really good, but when Yo-Yo Ma was playing, I just couldnt take my eyes off the stage. Not only is he an outstanding player, but he is also VERY courteous, friendly, and funny! There was a cellist from the orchestra who was retiring after that concert (she had been playing with the orchestra for nearly 70 years) and Ma was the one to come out and give her flowers! It was just an amazing concert, with a really nice atmosphere. Plus, I got to hear all kinds of stories about Ma from my violin teacher who plays in the orchestra:)
